LINEN

Linen has been one of our specialties for decades, a fiber that has us craving for Spring by the time Summer ends.

Although it has always been a uniquely earth-friendly fiber - because the flax plant from which it's made is an inherently eco conscious crop – we take it a step further by offering GOTS certified linen, one which has been cultivated without harmful pesticides and in accordance with very high standards.

In many cases we blend this organic linen with other earth-friendly fibers, such as recycled viscose and recycled elastane, to produce the beloved “Crunch” fabric by Marini; with lyocell and cotton to produce the drapey-yet-rustic twill fabric named “Segno” produced by Pontetorto; with GOTS organic cotton to produce those colorful canvas beach bags known as “Camogli” produced by our accessory mill Agolab.

Marini & Cecconi: Organic Stretch Linen

“This is a groundbreaking fabric category defined by high performance, inimitable style and a true sustainable footprint thanks to our GOTS certified organic linen..

WHY ORGANIC STRETCH LINEN?

Because we love working with raw materials that will not compromise our environment, and because we worry a great deal for our future generations. While socially irresponsible production cycles continue
to adversely impact our planet, we will be doing our part to alleviate this burden. We will do this by respecting every right and need of our dedicated workforce, and will continuously aspire to meet the ethical standards of our many partners that are moving in a socially responsible direction.”
